Children from poor and vulnerable neighborhoods, especially in poor countries, do not have access to education. The schools that are available are severely underfunded. As a result, there are not enough qualified teachers, which affects student achievement. Lack of education makes it difficult for generations of children to break out of the poverty cycle, as they are not ready to integrate into the workforce and achieve economic and social progress.

Sourire D’Enfants has guaranteed for many years access to various types of education for hundreds of children. An education is based on their rights, rather than their living conditions or origins. We strongly believe that regardless of their background or situation, all children have the right to be free from violence, exploitation, and abuse.

Our library provides access to quality and credible resources to the community of Martissant, Fontamara, and surrounding areas. We offer literary, cultural, and technical skills development programs that promote academic success, job readiness, community development, and lifelong learning. We have developed partnerships with several schools in remote areas to be able to help as many young people as possible.
