Community Services

Professional Training / Economic Development

The mission of the organization is to support young people aged 12 to 24 who have dropped out of school. The organization intends to reintegrate them socially and economically into the community by learning manual trades, through vocational training in promising fields such as masonry, tiling, sewing, welding, plumbing, small mechanics, and heavy machinery operators, while promoting gender equity in all our programs.

The welfare of adolescents is threatened on all sides: poverty, insecurity, gender inequality, discrimination, and economic disruption due to conflict and forced displacement.

Among the poorest adolescents, two out of four have never been to school and more than 300 million adolescents of secondary school age are out of school in low-income countries and countries affected by internal armed conflicts. Teenagers are too often ignored by state officials or even seen as a problem or a threat.

We believe that learning a trade will have a positive impact on their earning potential as adults and help them break out of the cycle of poverty and participate fully in their communities.
